What if a café could hold a morning long after the coffee had gone cold?

● A threshold into the chapter

01 / The breakfast club

Let the morning stay awhile!

EGCO is a courtyard café shaped around the unhurried rituals of morning. Set within a 1940s home on a quiet street, the design does not erase what stood before. It allows new life to gather within it. A glass roof draws daylight inward, a mango tree holds the courtyard, and concrete, terracotta and Kota stone give everyday rituals something tactile to settle into.

The café is not designed simply around breakfast. It is designed around the pleasure of staying a little longer.

Here, morning is not served.
It unfolds.
